What is Counselling?
Counselling can help people bring about positive change in their lives and enhance their well-being.
It offers an opportunity to safely explore any issues being encountered, perhaps to work through past or present difficulties and gain more clarity.
The decision to have counselling can be quite daunting. The reasons people consider counselling may not fit neatly into any specific category and the emotions surrounding them may well be confused and sometimes conflicting. I think it is important to provide a safe environment where it is possible to develop an open, honest and supportive relationship so that clients feel valued and free to examine issues at their own pace and to their own agenda.
Counselling is not advice giving and I will not tell you what to do.
